Cool.. but at $800, I'm hard pressed to find the value in it.

I guess it just seems like a lot of money for a dying format (spinning disks).
DP11, 2019 16-Core Mac Pro, Monterey, 64GB RAM. RME HDSPe MADI FX to SSL Alphalink to SSL Matrix console, and multiple digital sub consoles. UAD Quad PCIe. Outboard stuff.

I see you point regarding the cost but, I think it'd be a real nice Time Machine drive for multiple drive systems.

Initially I thought that'd be a nice alternative, until I read the reviews.
I always read the worst reviews first to see if they're just complaining about nonsense, or have legitimate gripes. Based on the negative reviews, some from verified customers that have posted recently, I think I'll pass on this drive...
Not sure that'd I'd get the 10GB drive at its current price point either. I think I'll go with this for now.

Now THAT'S a nice drive!

6 TB seems to be my personal limit at this time, as to how much faith I can invest in a single hard drive for backing up stuff..

Killahurts makes my point for me: Why would anybody want 10TB on a single drive? How many feature films being edited in 4K would that drive hold? More than you should trust it with.
