help! route outboard Filter factory to Motu 828 Mk2/ableton

Hi Everyone,

Sorry to sound like a newbie, I am transitioning from my outboard gear to mostly digital/software gear and controllers.

But I still have some outboard gear that software cannot emulate.

Every once in a while i like to produce filtered disco house.

My previous setup was completely using outboard gear to pass the disco loops through the Filter Factory for my to create that disco filtered sound using the resonance and LFO.

Now with just this new setup I want to be able to do the same thing:

a) using Ableton or Logic X to play the disco loop and have go through the outboard gear Filter Factory

b) be able to record live on another channel/track on Ableton or Logic X of my live Filtering Effects as I manually turn the knobs on the Filter Factory to give it a unique sound

c) So I have no idea how i should hookup the Filter Factory to the Motu 828 Mk2 to allow me to route the sound

d) I don't know if there are other settings on the CueFX software that I need to do

e) On ableton or Logic X what settings or routing do I need

Any help is greatly appreciated.
