Help with basic home recording technique.

Post by Flashelk »

Hey folks,

I have a very simple setup, and I'm trying to do something I'm sure is pretty fundamental.

My setup:

iMac
Logic Pro X
MOTO 828 mkII
Mackie active monitors
headphones plugged into 828
condensor mic plugged into 828

What I'm trying to do:

Setup a mix for record mode which only feeds the headphone. Meaning, no signal is routed to my monitors (so the microphone doesn't pick up the monitors). Do I do this within the MOTO software?

Thanks for helping with what I'm sure is a elementary question.
