Help! Tempo Changes Are Altering Audio Files

Post by tmajestic »

I have looked everywhere for this...

I turned off all the Automation I could find...

When I go to conductor track and choose change tempo and click somewhere it gives me a line and a blue area, but it doesn't change the actual tempo. So I right click on it and then go to "tempo change" and change an area to a new tempo.

But then it alters all my audio files to that tempo! Why? I can't get my files to just stay the tempo they are at and then let me record new audio at the new tempo.
