Controlling BPM with Novation based Automap controller?
by DeepDrums » Sat Jun 11, 2011 10:06 am
Hello,
Simply, Automap will not find it at all. Instead it needs to be set as external hardware(!).
Any idea if it can be done so that Automap recognized it as a Virtual Instrument in DAW?
Cheers.

BPM will not work with automap under any conditions, it has to do with the way BPM is written I guess as even in the seq editor BPM parameters are not available for automation, its not built in the "standard" way that other plugins are built.

Thanks for answering. Well that is very sad, as it is known movement in the industry to allow 'intelligent' MIDI control of software. Motu chose to go in opposite way...
