pads play mode settings

Post by Javus »

Hi all,

I would like the sample to finish when my MIDI note in my host finishes or when I let go of the note. I think its called 'note-off' instead of 'one-shot'.

example, If I have kick drum sample loaded into pad "BD1" if tap the MIDI note I just want it to play the very start of the kick, not the whole sample.

On Ultrabeat it is called 'gate' if your fimiliar.

Is this possible with BPM?

Thanks

Try adjusting the amplitude envelope. By default most pads uses an AHD envelope, but you can switch them to ADSR as you please.

thanks I do use the ADSR/AHD to get the sound I like but I was hoping BPM can play the sample as long as the MIDI notes length in my DAW - logic.

So this is not possible with BPM?

If you set the release value to "0" using the ADSR envelope it will do what you want.
