FXPansion Geist - some things BPM needs?

Post by M-Goldie »

thought i'd start a Geist thread seeing as its out today. i'm just demoing Geist. i never had Guru so i don't know if its similar or different. its certainly very similar to BPM in a lot of aspects. here are some things i immediately would like to be able to do in BPM that are in Geist:

- the drawing tools in the grid sequencer: range select so you can pick notes up and move them/delete them etc, nudge tool,

- note resolution goes to 64 / 64t,

- you can set any amount of steps in a pattern

- unlimited undo and redo

- bigger window to do the note programming in

- chromatic pads!

anyway there's just a few for starters. maybe we can pick out the best features that could be useful in BPM and would integrate nicely. not trying to create a BPM trashing thread here by the way, just looking for things to improve it :)
