Apogee USB MIC on stand

Post by Shane Harvey »

Hi, It's the under educated one here again..lol. Some times I stare at the screen seeing nothing but jumbles of letters. Even though the comments here are fantastic. It's me. Having said that I bought an Apogee USB MIC on sticks...Says it's for Garageband but will work with any core audio app...and of course DP8 right? Well I can't seem to get it recognized by the software..It lights up, green yes, but under config hardware i cant access it. I add a mono track, put in record but its not anywhere. With my MOTU 828 hybrid of course when you do that you get to access Mics 1 mono or 2 or stereo in the input on DP track window..I need some help...Anyone have some advice other than to try Adderall?

Thanks

Shane

Hi:

I have a Blue Snowball USB mic and had a similar issue. Try adding it as an input device in Mac's system preferences. it should show up in hardware config after that

Good luck!
