Slightly disappointed that it seems no big announcement of DP 10, but I'm not remembering how they went about it when the last four upgrades came out, so they could still hit us up side the head with it!

Cool to see kwiz doing presentations, would love to see that, alas 1200 miles is 1200 miles.
M2 Studio Ultra, RME Babyface FS, Slate Raven Mti2, NI SL88 MKII, Linnstrument, MPC Live II, Launchpad MK3. Hundreds of plug ins.

If they don’t announce by Thursday, probably ain’t happening this year. Looking doubtful.

Yeah I agree, I do recall they tend to announce it if it happens within the first DP related lecture, but I don't recall if they intentionally left space in the lectures to talk about it without announcing it beforehand?

The 2015 pre show NAMM announcement hinted in bold that something NEW might be announced, and I don't see any such hints this year. http://motu.com/newsitems/see-motu-at-namm-2015

Nope. I'm still not sure if there was any hint by anyone of DP 10 being on the horizon or not, but Magic Dave told someone at the show as reported on the DP Facebook page, "Not what we do." In regard to a control surface for DP etc.

The consoles are for their audio hardware.

Since I run Slate Raven MTIs in the studio, it would be nice if this custom “programmability” could be imported into Raven.
Because DP’s windows are so custom-izable, it makes it a bit difficult for 3rd party companies to program control surfaces. Pro Tools has 2 window sets...easy pizza. But DP? Many possible window sets. That is WHY MOTU should make it "their business” to develop a control surface. It’s actually a compliment to the deep capabilities of DP. Their may be no other company who would want to spend large amounts of time accounting for DP’s deep features and custom set ups. That’s why MOTU should make one.
