Revert VE Pro 6 to VE Pro 5 for DP, Can't Open Metaframes

I use Vienna Ensemble Pro 6 Server with MOTU Digital Performer on a new Mac Pro.

I just moved up to High Sierra, and unfortunately found that the Vienna Pro MAS plugin for DP is not yet working.

For some reason, Vienna Pro 5 WILL work in Digital Performer under high Sierra.

I uninstalled VE Pro 6 and re-installed VE Pro 5.

Unfortunately, all of my metaframes are greyed-out and I can't load any of them, presumably because they were created in VE Pro 6.

Is there some way to do this, or any kind of work-around?

Did you upgrade to the latest version of VSL server? I'm on High Sierra but upgraded to latest VSL version before installing. Seems to be working fine.
