DP 9.5 Demo on Puremix

Post by jerboythegreat »

Carlos "El Loco" Bedoya used DP to mix Brazilian Girls single in a 2 hour pretty cool demo of DPs flexibility and plugins. Limited to pro members but really illustrative.

Love pureMix. Surprised at how many stock plugs he used.

He does a thing on there with the Leveler, where he clicks on the meter and it brings up a menu about freezing the state of the tubes. Can anyone explain this further?

From the MOTU site:

"Hardware modeling at its finest
During the Leveler's extensive R&D cycle, our engineers discovered response characteristics in the T4 module that are simply not accurately reflected in other LA-2A models on the market.
In fact, the MasterWorks Leveler model is so accurate, you need to give the plug-in a minute to warm up and "settle in" to its fully operational state, just like the real hardware! A menu option lets you save the "warm" state, without waiting."
