Hi all!
After 11 years it's time to replace my Ultralite firewire to a Thunderbolt new interface. Any thoughts?
Mostly working with VI's, but need guitar and voice channels. As a DAW, only working with DP9.5 and Notion 6. Mac.
I was considering the Motu 624, the Focusrite Clarett 4Pre and also the new Apogee Element.
Any thoughts?

Thank you!

All are good with excellent mic pres but the Claret has two more.

Look at signal flow and functionality — one might have an edge over the other two. The Claret’s additional mic pres, for example while the 624 has a lot more I/O, networking options the others don’t have and tighter integration with DP. The Apogee’s big strength has always been its integration with Logic.

I have recently got a MOTU 624 and I am really happy with it so far. You can read my thoughts on it at the end of this thread: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=63137
