Re: MAS DP 9.5
I never have MAS go on and off while editing? Are you talking a dialog box popping up saying MAS is disabled? What sound card are you running? Your post is as vague as it gets.
M2 Studio Ultra, RME Babyface FS, Slate Raven Mti2, NI SL88 MKII, Linnstrument, MPC Live II, Launchpad MK3. Hundreds of plug ins.

MAS is rock solid, never an issue for me.
Put your system specs in your signature... we don't even know if you are Mac or Windows OS.

Re: MAS DP 9.5
My only complaint about MAS or DP's engine is the glitch or audio drop out that happens when editing while the sequencer is running, but we're talking about a 1/4 second glitch that happens to every DAW except Live, and even Live can have it occasionally.

Re: MAS DP 9.5
I did have an incident yesterday that may just be completely random with 9.5 (OSX 10.8.5)
I was working on a project, closed that one and opened another.
No audio output at all except through hardware MIDI devices.
Speaker icon on.
Hitting play-no audio.
Highlighting a section of a soundbite-no audio.
Selecting any soundbite in the Soundbite window-no audio.
Quit DP and relaunched. No change.
Shutdown and restarted. Back to normal.
Weird.
