new Kontakt with the new DP?
anyone tried out the new Kontakt (5.7) with new DP (9.5)?
DP 9.52(OS 10.13.6), PTools 11.3.3, Sibelius 2021.12,
MacPro 5,1 mid-2010, 2 x 2.93Ghz 12 core, ATI Radeon HD 5870, 64 Gig RAM, 4 x >120G SSDs, 2 x 25" LCDs

According to the email I just received from NI, these are the only changes:
Terry"The update adds three new guitar amp models and two additional distortion effects.
KONTAKT 5.7 also adds enhancements for instrument builders – including two for UI-authoring – and fixes some bugs."

Turns out all is NOT well. At least not for
SonicCouture VI's. Got an email from SC this
morning saying their Electro-Acoustic library
is crashing if run in Kontakt 5.7.0. They have
confirmed it with NI, and are recommending
that their customers should not upgrade to
Kontakt 5.7 at this time.

David, that's not really an indicator that Kontakt 5.7 or DP 9.5 have problems, either internally or each other. That's just one instrument from one publisher that doesn't work, and that's clearly SC's problem.
The new versions of Kontakt and DP work fine together, even under the GM beta of OSX 10.13, and all my SonicCouture instruments work, too. I don't have the Electro-Acoustic Library (is that the drum instrument? I almost did buy that), but with everything else, all is well.
