I'm exactly the opposite. I run everything as MIDI tracks until the bitter end, unless I hit a CPU wall.
Don't like committing until I'm sure. Why I'm single I guess! :lol:

that would be me as well, Michael. I keep everything in MIDI as long as possible, right up to final mix, because I'm always tweaking & changing ideas right up to final mix. It's really one of the wonders of MIDI - - imagine if you had a live orchestra, but all of the players were using iPods with a notation app, instead of printed notation.... You could change whole sections of music with a click! (actually, I think I have read about an orchestra that does just this....wondr how it works out?)
