Load... VRack? [RESOLVED]

Post by SMS »

Is there any way to import a VRack from one project to another?

Load... doesn't seem to accommodate that...

Thanks

In your mixer at the top of the channel there's a dropdown that let's you "save inserts." That should do it. Save and load from there. You might also have to create multis for the VIs as I am not sure it will save those but I suspect it will.

That's strange... I use the Load command to import regular sequences and VRacks all the time, and it works perfectly.
When you call the Load command, it should list every sequence and VRack that the sequence contains.
Are you sure there are VRacks in the project you're trying to import?
Mac Mini Server i7 2.66 GHs/16 GB RAM / OSX 10.14 / DP 9.52
Tascam DM-24, MOTU Track 16, all Spectrasonics' stuff,
Vienna Instruments SUPER PACKAGE, Waves Mercury, slaved iMac and Mac Minis running VEP 7, etc.

I'm a little lost here. When you load a project file that used VRacks, it shows in the "Load Chunks" window all the available chunks AND VRacks. You select them (Command/CTRL click to select several) and hit OK. Done!

Are you describing something different? [Edit - I see FMiguelez and I posted at the same time!]
