I've created a chunk, then copied it to another chunk.
I edited down 2nd chunk and I've been working on a mix for it.
I got the mix the way I like it and was wondering if there was a way to copy that mix and bring it into the 1st chunk, rather than starting from scratch.
Thanks.
Can I copy one mix to another chunk?

Re: Can I copy one mix to another chunk?
Its possible assuming a few things are the same. Same number of tracks, same plug-ins on tracks, same length of tracks (not necessary if you don't have moves in your mix that exceed your edited version).
You can choose to View everything but the Soundbites, then copy all in the mix you like for chunk 2, then in chunk 1, Merge the data over the same selection. That might get you where you want. You might want to work on a copy of the project before trying this in case I'm not thinking completely through your problem.

Freqsound, I'm foggy on how to choose the view. Is that in the tracks window?

You're looking for the infamous View Filter under Setup (Command-F).NealF wrote:Freqsound, I'm foggy on how to choose the view. Is that in the tracks window?

Ah!
Thanks, all, for the help. I also received this from Motu tech. Similar or the same but I'm putting it here for convenience. He said there's 3 ways to do it:
1) Save As
- File > Save As
- Save as "NEW Project Mix"
- This will save a new version of the Project with the same parameters but a different Saved name
2) Load
- File > New Project
- File > Load
- Find the project file with the correct mix.
- Load all soundbites, sequences, and parameters.
- Open the Chunks menu via the Project menu
- Your Loaded project will be in a new Sequence
3) Duplicate Chunk
- Open the Chunks Menu via the Project menu
- Highlight the original Mix chunk
- Duplicate Chunk
