Miraslov Phil 2 ?

Hey guys, I have a weird one here. I have the latest ver of Miraslov Phil 2. I got a string track from an arranger who added MIDI volume info in Logic. I saved it as a SMF , brought it into DP9 , added Philharmonic VI , and proceeded to play the track. The vol info was there, but the VI did not respond to the volume MIDI. The MIDI track assigned to the VI moves up and down to the volume info but there is no change in volume coming from the VI.I am stumped. Anyone ?

Check the settings in the Miroslav VI window to see if there is a way to enable CC7 control of that VI. Some VI's enable it by default, with some, you have to check an option.

Let us know if that works or not.

There is a CONTROL section where you assign your controller. It still does not follow the volume info in the MIDI track after I assign a macro to #7. Very cryptic. It should be easy.

In the mixer window, on each MIDI track, there is an AUTO(mation) area. I assume you've got that enabled because you said the fader was going up & down.

In the control setting of the VI, you said you assigned CC7. Did it just let you select it from a list? Is there a master to turn all the realtime control on? I'm flying blind as I don't have that VI.

Hey guys, there is no master control to turn on or off cc7. I posted in the DUC and someone had also posted that. Everything is on in DP as you the fader is reading the vol info. It seems that the culprit is Phil 2.Thanks for the responses guys

Got it Working. In the CONTROL section , choose cc7 , enter and exit the page. So simple !!!! In Logic, you do not have to do this.

Ah, so it didn't accept the change until you entered it and then closed the window. Good to know. Thanks for following up.

One more thing Stubb, I did not enable LATCH. Check that out. When I did, it did not work for me. Using Sample Tank in PT 12.7 with Miraslov in it and it is working at this point for me that way.
