Re: Uninstall DP8
Drag it to the trash. You can look for plists in your Library/Preferences but trashing it should do the trick in terms of the general process. You can also leave it in place with no liability. I still have several version of DP handy just in case. Sometimes opening older files in the original version preserves the VIs and other assignments which may have changed.

Re: Uninstall DP8
No reason to remove it unless you really need the drive space. Unlike DP 7 and earlier, there is no uninstaller.
Do not remove any of the supporting files — or rather, if you do, be prepared to reinstall DP 9 again.
While I'm on the subject, if you run the uninstaller for any of the 32bit versions of DP such as 5, 6 or 7, it will remove critical components required by 8 & 9. So, when you're done, reinstall 9 (or 8 if that's what you are using).

Re: Uninstall DP8
Thanks guys, needed the space on my 1st drive. Trashed only the program. Have 8 and 9 on a 2nd backup drive.
