Latency DP8 -DP9
Hey guys, one more question about DP9. I am running FW on a 828 MKIII Hybrid. I am running DP8. In the specs of DP 9 MOTU says there is a difference in latency using a Thunderbolt connection audio interface. Will I notice a difference with the FW hookup in DP9, thanks !

Re: Latency DP8 -DP9
I'm using FW as well, with a Traveler mkI that's still working like new.
I like playing MIDI instruments in DP 9.02 or 9.12. There might be less latency,.... it's better....it's subliminal...we're talking micro-milliseconds I believe....but MIDI response does seem excellent in DP9.

Re: Latency DP8 -DP9
DP9 displays about half the latency at the same buffer setting as does DP8. Well worth it.

Re: Latency DP8 -DP9
The latency increase happened way before DP 9…
DP3 or 4 was ok
Best
