On my computer, they are in the main library. E.g. the Korg midnam files are here:

For those also or only running DP on Windows, they are here:
C:\ProgramData\MOTU\Digital Performer\MIDI Devices\Motu
If they don't provide ones already for your synth, you can easily copy the approach used by the others. You'll need both the .midnam file and a .middev file (both simple text files).
