Install DP9 and keep running DP8, any issues?

Finally a little downtime to look into installing DP9 but I would like
to keep DP8 running for a while for all my ongoing projects in
case something does not go smooth, I've done a search but nothing substantial came up, any obvious issues or problems?
If anybody has some advice, thanks!

Yes I always transition that way myself but once in a while some funky stuff happens( I think from 7 to 8 some Motu audio plugins disappeared in one of the versions, reverse was one of them I seem to recall...)
So I though I'd ask around if there was anything to watch out for,
so, good to hear it's been going smoothly.

None of the v.7 functionality was lost but the Trim plugin consolidated some features that were separate plugs before including invert.

A little of that goes on between 8 & 9.02 but not that much. 9.12 has some major changes, however so keeping 8.07 around during the transition is a good idea.
