Export OMF From DP8

Post by coolcat »

Hi all,

Not quite sure how to do this but...

I opened a song in DP 8 with several audio tracks
- some were comps - all merged starting from bar 1
- some were just varied take tracks with many random punches all over the place

I tried to export an OMF file - with just references to the audio. I chose enforce Logic compatibility. Seemed to export ok.

Then went to Logic Pro X and opened the file.

What I found was that the tracks that were merged and started from bar 1 came in ok ... but the others seemed to show up in odd places and out of time. so unusable...

Q: Is there some way I can create an OMF that will import the same way into LPX?

Thanks in advance
