"Internal OS Error" when Saving As...

Post by ghobish »

Trying to "save a session as..." to another drive, with "duplicate audio and copy shared samples" enabled. It gets about 20% done, then stops with this error:

"Digital Performer Has Encountered An Error.
OS error:
Internal Program Error (null pointer) (-108)

This only happens on this particular session, so I'm thinking there is a duff file there. However, the whole session plays through fine and there are no unused soundbytes. I'm on 9.12 under Yosemite and I have tried doing the copy to several drives.

Short of deleting soundbytes one at a time to catch the culprit (or perhaps merging them) is there an easy way of determining what's going on?

You might eliminate the bad file possibility by LOADING all CHUNKS into a new project and saving THAT (assuming DP will let you load the data into a new project). Just a thought...
