ps - You might want to look here. Maybe not related, but I lost access to most of my websites after the install. Probably coincidence... probably.

Not a coincidence if I have the same problem, right? Here's what fixed it for me. I saw the following at the above link:

First back-up (just in case) and then delete the following folder:
/Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration

Do not delete this folder. Instead, delete preferences.plist from that folder. I found two other, older files with similar names and deleted those, too, but only preferences.plist was rebuilt. I did not have to reboot and my web connections were restored.

Here's how I fixed that. Apparently, Apple changed something in Sierra and zipped files compressed in earlier OS may not expand properly. Downloading this and expanding the installers for Miroslav 2 Libraries worked before

http://www.kekaosx.com/en/

Expanding the license file for PSP in this app worked, too.

I suspect that PSP needs to zip all of their license files in Sierra.

I will file a support case directing them to this thread so that they can get this fixed.

Thanks. That'll save me from doing so. I'm on El Cap 10.11.6 and trying to stay fixed there for a bit. Things are working, but I am loosing connectivity to my MOTU Track 16 every so often now. I just reinstalled the drivers and it hasn't happened again since then. Fingers crossed. Eyes, too...

I trust that you did not have the License File error, correct?

I did not. The license worked fine, but I could not log in to get the read me.

Also, on first run, the GUI was absent. After rebooting and running sudo /usr/libexec/repair_packages --repair --standard-pkgs --volume / I realized I was running the VST version, which, like Xenon, has "issues" with DP 9 and El Cap. The AU version works fine.

I was having dinner with an Apple engineer last night and we discussed the file expansion problems I found in Sierra and the workaround with Keka.app. He is going to escalate this as a probable OS bug.

In the meantime, I am glad that IK Multimedia Support turned me onto the app.
