DP Controller / Maschine Jam / Macke HUI / Eucon HELP !!!!!!

Post by JSmith1234567 »

In my endless search for a mix controller for DP, I came across both the new NI Maschine Jam (with eight optical fader strips) and the also new motorized-fader Personus Faderport 8.

https://www.presonus.com/products/FaderPort-8

As both of these implement Mackie HUI or MCU or whatever-the-heck it is called now for eight fader banks, can anyone tell me how this would work in the real-world with DP?

And also, how this would be better or worse than the Avid Artist Mix which uses Eucon instead?

Thanks!
