soundbites and track renaming questions

Post by vudoo »

Can i rename a track and have the soundbite on that track renamed at the same time ? (did a search and the closest solution seems to be a Merge)

Can i rename soundbites directly from the track in sequence window ? So far the only way i manage to rename soundbites was to do it in the soundbites window via ''Sound File Information''

Thanks

No, because a track can contain many sound bites. In sequence window, Opt-click the track name, Cmd-c to copy the name, opt-click the SB name in the track, cmd-v to paste the track name to the SB name or instead of pasting, just type a new SB name after opt-clicking.

Well that's the whole point, 99% of the time i want all the regions (soundbites) on the track to have the same name as the track itself. Bummer i guess this is not possible.
