VSL's VEPro 6 is out (with discount price for August)

Post by zuul-studios »

Today, I received notification that VSL's VEPro 6 is available for purchase. Took advantage of the upgrade discount price (of $85.00) and upgraded. Installed the upgrade on my two happy computers. So far, so good.

Just sharing information. . .

Yep, I posted this a couple of days ago, but in the off-topic forum so that Windows users wouldn't miss it.

Not quite sure anymore when it's best to post something there vs. here, as Windows is now an important part of the DP family.

Point well taken! Apologies. . .

I'm kind of a lazy internet surfer. When I visit this bulletin board, I usually go to this particular forum (MacOS: Usage, Techniques, Tips & Optimization).

It wasn't a criticism; I just found it ironic that my decision to post about a cross-platform tool in the more general off-topic forum so Windows users wouldn't miss it, ended up causing a Mac user to miss it. :-)

The part about it now supporting VST on the Mac, however, is highly pertinent to this specific forum. I forgot to check whether it can support VST and AU in the same setup or not though.

Yes, downloaded and used it yesterday. Some great new features, but sadly it does not address the issue when you freeze a track where the source is not VE Pro output 1/2. If it comes in on 3/4 or above, it still bounces an empty track. So disappointing, because it looks/feels great.

Just bought it, downloaded, and installed, but am about to collapse as I should have gone to bed hours ago.

I was at least alert enough to take note that it not only supports VST on Macs, but VST3.
