Waveform Editor Problem Question

Post by JSmith1234567 »

Every time I use the waveform editor, when I finish and close it, there is a long pause like it is re-loading the entire audio system and plug-ins.

Do I have something set wrong?

Thanks!

Same thing here. Opening and closing the waveform editor has always been sluggish, but it seems much worse these days. Closing sometimes even crashes DP. A workaround is to just leave the editor open rather than risk closing it.

Same here.

The interruption happens when accessing and when leaving the Waveform editor.

It's so annoying, that sometimes it actually makes me not want to use it at all.

I've been using an external editor instead for just that purpose.

I just thought maybe I had something wrong set up in DP?

I guess not!
