I have both and go back and forth. The Steadman works great for me with a few inches or more distance. For close up or voice over with a ribbon, I prefer the nylon—I have an old el-cheapo frame that lets me mount one as a 2-layer screen.
With problem talent, I place the Steadman on the client side and the nylon towards the mic.
