Sampletank 3 and DP 9.02
Just got a mac pro. Upgraded to st3. The seperate parts do not respond to volume changes in DP's mixer. Any suggestions? Thanks.
Re: Sampletank 3 and DP 9.02
You have each part set to separate MIDI channels right? I use MIDI cc7 message to change volume and that works just fine. Also ST3 responds just fine to volume automation from DP in the MIDI stream. Do you have the latest ST3 - it's now up to 3.6.5. What OSX version?Divabosco wrote:Just got a mac pro. Upgraded to st3. The seperate parts do not respond to volume changes in DP's mixer. OS 10.11.5 El Capitan. Yes, they are on separate MIDI channels. St2.5 worked perfectly. Any special settings in Dp 9? The virtual instrument channel responds just fine. Oh, the joys of new computers.

No special settings that I know of. I don't have EC so maybe it's some kind of incompatibility with ST3/EC/DP? Do you have the latest version of ST3?Divabosco wrote:OS 10.11.5 El Capitan. As has been pointed out, the current version OS ST is 3.6.5. I had issues in OS 10.11 till I updated.
If you got it on DVD or a USB stick, you probably have an older build. Remember that you have to download and install ST 3.6.5, the current libraries and the latest version of the license manager separately.
