Re: Aerodrums
I'm curious, too. The demo videos are jaw-droppingly good. What has caused me to have some reservations is that it requires certain lighting conditions, and unless you hack it in some way, the sticks are NOT really designed to hit a surface. Also, multiple-bounce (buzz) strokes would have to be a specific sample & strike location, not doable with the "air".
The demo vids show a product with very impressive capabilities. I look forward to hearing some responses if anyone on here has tried it.

I'm more than curious. I have a huge clunky electronic drum kit that I've wanted to remove for a while, but couldn't find a reasonable alternative. This looks like it.
A couple of seemingly frank reviews. Looks like the use of bright visible light is the main issue. There is some speculation about the use of IR in "V2".

Re: Aerodrums
I wonder if there are real plans to produce an IR version. If that would solve the ambient light issue, then it might be worth waiting for. I wonder if they'd blow out the LED versions for even cheaper (It's already impressively priced, IMHO).
