Arranging Audio Bundles
I have a very large template incorporating hundreds of MIDI tracks, mostly controlling VEP instances on the same (Trashcan) Mac, which also controls 3 external Macs (2 Mac Minis, 1 older Intel Mac). All the VEP audio returns are routing directly into stereo audio tracks in DP (on the Trashcan). When I work, I have the appropriate VEP instanced instantiated (and the corresponding audio track enabled). I monitor through the appropriate stereo audio track (using monitor button), then, when I'm ready to print, I select the audio tracks I'm using in the mixing board, move all audio tracks from 'monitor' to 'record', then hit record. I then MIX the audio tracks (where I can work with my reverbs effects etc) and bounce to disk as a stereo Mix (or as separate audio stems if required).
My question is this:
My AUDIO BUNDLES are currently a bit of a mess. As I add new VIs etc to my template I then have to add the appropriate Audio Bundles for routing/recording. Is there a way to tidy up my Audio Bundles so that, for instance, all my strings are grouped together, synths together etc. Same goes for y Audio Busses etc. I have so many audio bundles that it would take hours to organize them efficiently, and then reorganize once I add new VIs. Is there a way to 'group' or 'mass-move' audio bundles so I can easily arrange and manage them as my template evolves?
thanks!

Search for posts on bundles by FMiguelez. He has mastered the technique of bundle construction.

Hi FMiguelez
Do you happen to still have those pictures of your Audio Bundles you posted in this Post?

I'm curious to know how others organize their Audio Bundles - especially for those with large numbers of Audio tracks / Busses.
thanks

Re: Arranging Audio Bundles
I'm still DP8 and am not able to update since i'm mid-project.
Does anyone know if there is a way to mass-move/arrange Audio Bundles?
AB feature is really useful but incredibly cumbersome when it comes to large templates and many inputs...
thanks!

Re: Arranging Audio Bundles
I guess DP9 has not addressed this yet?....
I don't understand why DP can't:
1. Allow you to Mass-Move Audio bundles
2. When you create a new bundle, make it appear directly where you want it (i.e. below the highlighted bundle).
Both these features would save me DAYS if not WEEKS of work while I'm re-arranging my mammoth template.
Pleeease MOTU!...
