Warmest greetings everyone!
A little OT question for DP and Final Cut users. I find myself doing a lot of audio, as well as video editing these days for podcasts, video blogs etc. In fact both myself and my wife are pulling double duty to keep up with deadlines.
Does anybody have a suggestion for a sturdy/ergonomic jog/shuttle wheel for not only scrubbing/editing audio in DP but also in Final Cut Pro X as well?
I came across the Griffin Powermate in my search. Looks cool. I still have a lot more searching to do. Perhaps I should be looking at Video Controllers?
Advice?
Best~Jeff

Re: Jog/Shuttle Wheel
I got the Contour Design one, but gave it away to a friend.
The problem wasn't the product, it was that DP's fast-forward and slow-forward speeds (and backwards obviously) are not adjustable.
Not even if you go into system-preferences and mess with key-repeat.
The shuttle wheels just seem to do their thing by sending measure-forward or backward commands continuously.

Re: Jog/Shuttle Wheel
I like my Shuttle Xpress by Contour, but mostly use the shuttle wheel to zoom in and out in the timeline
