Thanks, MM, for the info on folx. I'm downloading now with it. It's estimating about 8 hours. If it can resume an interrupted download without corruption, that in itself should do the trick. Thanks mate.

Went for the folx as well after the initial d/l crapped out. Hopefully it can resume an interrupted d/l; most managers can. BTW mine is estimating an 11 hour d/l.

It doesn't apply now but in the future - I set up two Mac Pros, both 3.46 ghz/32 gb ram. I can have the second one download while I can still work with the other and not lose a step! Yay for me! LOL.

Update:
I've downloaded with folx. It worked like a charm. The sounds are pretty good. Probably not something I'd use often, but I'm working on a project at the moment that is very retro and this freebie came just at the right time!! I will definitely check out their other sample libraries.

Well that didn't work. Nothing I do gets this thing to download! Fox says "completed" after 1 second and then there's no way to get the d/l started. What the...?

Same thing here with Folx, but after two attempts, it locked in and started the download. Took about 12 hours, but I've got it.

Nothing I do gets this thing to download!

That happened the first time I tried it, too. I think that happens when the download link sends the "server too busy" message rather than starting the download.
