anyone using Kairos app Duet Display with DP

I am interested in adding our one iPad air as extra and portable DP screen. Anyone doing this ? Any significant cpu hit???
AMPGUI themes - Andy rocks!, 3 macs, MacPro 768GB ram, 16core OS11.7.10, DP11.31, all Waves, all SLATE, PSP, IK multimedia & Audioease plugs, all PAlliance, Softube, tons of NI VI's all air Spitfire, all Audiobro, all Berlin, EW PLAY, LLizard, MachFive3, Kontakt5, Omnisphere, RMX, LASS, all Soundtoys, Lexicon AU's, melodyne and others I know am forgetting, cause I'm old...Also mucho outboard rigs, MTPs, DTP, antelope WC, and 4 control surfaces with Raven.

just saw a video review which says it does super video, but at the price of high CPU. Alas...

I tried this about a year ago when Duet came out with my iPad. Unfortunately the latency was too high and the CPU as well. So it was not usable for me. But I never tried it since, they claim they improved performance and latency in later updates... sooo... maybe it'll work better now.

Same exact thing here. But additionally, I don't like apps that get deep into my Mac and and update themselves, etc. Spashscreen is another app like that, big time. I ended up cleaning all that software out of my computer, with some effort. It's like they think their little software is the sole reason you use a computer.

I can't really do anything about the Flash Player update I get about once a week, I gotta have that.. but at least Adobe give you the option of notifying you of the update first (Although it's "recommended" that you give them control).
DP11, 2019 16-Core Mac Pro, Monterey, 64GB RAM. RME HDSPe MADI FX to SSL Alphalink to SSL Matrix console, and multiple digital sub consoles. UAD Quad PCIe. Outboard stuff.
