LAME output noise...

Post by jfmusic »

I am hoping someone can give me insight to outputting from the lame plugin without adding floor noise.

My out output sounds quite on head phones and speakers,
But after BTD through lame I am picking up floor noise.

Thanks in advance.

I wonder if the noise is from some dither step? I've never had any noise problems from a L.A.M.E. export. Though it might not be relevant to your issue, I always render my mixdowns in realtime, and export them (rather than use BTD).

Way not enough information.

Yosemite
DP 9
Latest Rev of LAME
Stereo output from single track (Voiceover)

Its sounds dumb near silent from Speakers or headphones.
But on playback of BTD it picks up white noise.
If there is silence in the track it sounds quiet but under the Spoken word there is floor noise.

Thanks

Ok, I'll bite. Why are you using it in DP 9? It's not necessary.
