Re: USB dilemma
10 and counting here, with zero trouble. Agreed, 7 of them are attached to a good quality powered hub. Daisy chaining might be a bad idea... I've never tried it.MIDI Life Crisis wrote:Four devices? I've never hit that limit. I have at least 8 or 9 attached at a time and it's always worked, but the have to be powered hubs in the chain. I don't think the topic has strayed at all.

Re: USB dilemma
It's great and frequently updated. I like the application specific settings.

Re: USB dilemma
Hey, Shooshie, I have that same Logitech keyboard you mentioned... it's a handy bit of kit. I keep it on a music stand across the studio for when I need to record myself away from the computer. I liked that it had the number pad (is Apple ever going to give us a wireless keyboard with the number pad?!) and I love that it's solar-powered, as I don't use it all the time. You're right, though, that Solar app is the worst. I immediately had to uninstall it because it wasted so many system resources.

Same setup here. 10 on a 4 port Mac, 7 of them through a hub. I recall one or two items didn't like being on the hub, but once that was sorted out, it's been trouble free.Gravity Jim wrote:10 and counting here, with zero trouble.
