DP and Pitch Names for Toontrack Superior Drummer?

Post by dp-user »

OK, I used to do this, so I know it can be done, but I'm damned if I can figure it out at the moment...

I'm trying to get reasonable pitch names in the DE (drum editor) in DP9 for a SD (Superior Drummer from Toontrack) VI track. By default, it comes up just with raw pitch names. I can select any of the kits, including the EZDrummer kit (which I think is a kit I created in XML), but regardless of which kit I pick, the pitch names are just raw (i.e. "A0" rather than "kick")...

I can go through and manually rename the pitches, but what a drag...

Is there an easier way?

Thanks in advance!
