Virtual Guitarist is back

Post by David Polich »

Virtual Guitarist is back in a new release, this time not part of Steinberg, but it's the same guys who created Virtual Guitarist for Steinberg, they were originally with Wizoo.

It works about the same as the old Virtual Guitarist did, but sounds much much better. Mostly rock, country, indie, and a few funk patterns. Doubling, variable amounts of distortion, chorus, and delay are available, as well as parameters that affect how "lazy" or tight it is. You can select the "clean" guitar type with the drive all the way off if you want just a "D.I." sound that you re-amp later.

I always found VG to be a valuable songwriting and arranging tool and it's good to see it back.

The free 30-day demo is available for download and it is the entire 2.5GB of content, not restricted in any way. Yes it works fine in DP, I've been testing it all morning.
