Can Quickscribe only show staff with content?

Hi ,
I have an orchestra template, can Quickscribe only show staff/tracks with content. For e.g., if there's nothing on clarinet3 and basson 2 track, can quickscribe shows everything but the clarinet3 and basson2 ? I understand that we can deselect them everytime before we open quickscribe, but you know that takes a lot of time...

Sorry, as far as I know you can't do this in DP. It's notation (QuickScribe) can only show sets of tracks and won't suppress empty tracks the way you want.

Most people who are doing pretty intensive scoring and parts will use DP as the composition and editing side, and use a dedicated notation program for the printing side.

Now that DP 9 lets you export as MuscXML, sending it to Finale or Sibelius for proper score layout and parts extraction has become much easier. Not that exporting MIDI was hard…
