Automation break points

Post by Yiannis »

Is there an easy way to put two break points at the boundaries of a soundbite?

Also wouldn't be useful a commant that puts break points at wiper position?

Thank you.. :)

If you 're in the sequence editor, you can always select the soundbite, then choose automation snapshot for selected range. That will place 2 points, at beginning and end of soundbite.
You can choose whatever is currently visible to snapshot, ( volume, pan, send level, etc)

Thanks Carlos…

It seems that it places 3 points at the beginning of the soundbite….nothing at the end.

Am I doing something wrong?

Hmm. Are you selecting the entire soundbite.? I believe double clicking with the I beam will do that ( I'm not in front if my computer right now)
With the soundbite highlighted, choose the snapshot icon towards the bottom.
When the options box presents itself, choose selected range.
