Spitfire Ørstphone -- amazing versatile new mallet perc

What an amazing library this is! It is the sound I had in my head, for a piece I needed to finish, and yet I couldn't get that sound from any of my gazillion other mallet percussion libraries.

I haven't had time to delve into the details, but I think Ørstphone is a brand name -- like Waterphone -- as opposed to a description per se.

Basically it is a type of aluminum Orchestral Array Bells setup (chromatic).

The library is incredible as it has several mallet types as well as bowed samples! I ended up using the hard mallet strikes on one track, and long bowed sounds on another, Not chaotic like a Waterphone, but more tonally focused than Bowed Cymbals.

Very affordable during the introductory sale.

If you don't own Kontakt, check product details carefully to see whether it supports Kontakt Player or not.
