Have it. Use it on my iPad Air 2. Works very well. Was worth the $50 for me. TouchOSC is a cheaper alternative...but you have to set it up button by button (unless you buy someone's pre-made configuration for it). V-Control Pro has a DP template and just works. And can also work with ProTools, Final Cut Pro...Logic...etc...so buying it once gives you a control surface for all of those apps and more. Can even see the plugin "faces" on the iPad and control them with your fingers.

Hey Brian, and others. Can V-Control PRO drop markers on the fly while tracking or playback, and can it name those markers?
