I have Pro Tools 9, Cubase 8.5, Logic 8, Studio One, and DP9.

For me, DP still edges out Cubase by a bit. Cubase does sound really good. Logic is next
in sound quality (that may have changed with the latest version), then Studio One (which I
almost never use), and Pro Tools at the bottom of the list.

Pro Tools suffers from a lack of headroom, that's it's main problem. Once you go above
0dbFS on the master fader, you start to get clipping. Actually when you go above 0dbFS on
any fader you get clipping. PT's summing is terrible. Again, that may have changed with later
versions of it.
