DP9's new XML feature?

Post by williemyers »

hey Dave (!), could you - - or one of you bleeding-edge types (who already have DP9 up and flying) - - tell me this?

when doing an XML export to send, say, to Sibelius, can you select multiple MIDI tracks and export them as a single XML file? or, if you had, say 30 orchestral MIDI tracks to get in to Sibelius, would you need to export them as 30 individual XML files?
many thanks

The manual says yes - you can export all tracks simultaneously or just ones you select (pp 471-473). I just tested with an orchestra piece I am working on and it worked. I haven't fully tested it yet to see if if what you get in the quickscribe window is what is exported, but I am very happy about this feature!

It exports notes, lyrics and most expressions. There are some things it won't including repeats according to the manual. p.471.
