I'm an equal sucker for Leslie emulation. I have a few and really like PSP's (currently $99) but this demo is impressive:

Goes to $79/79€ after April 5, 2017

I am the same way about rotary emulators. Drat you, Mike, I was going to try to hold off on buying anything this month! :)

This really looks like a great item. Thanks for the tip-off!

I wonder if you can "break" it like one could on the old Korg Wavestation Rotary effect. (If you set the "slow" limit to higher than the "fast" limit on that, a crazy croaking effect would emerge sounding like a bull frog stuck inside a leslie speaker. Hard to describe it any other way!)

Hmmmm... PSP must have seen this. L'otary2 just went on sale for $29 (minus any cumulative discounts) through April 3. I already have it and it's good—I'm going to pick up the UVI, too.

BTW, it appears that the latest Sierra 10.12.4 update fixed the unzip issue that affected the PSP license files and a few others. I just downloaded a couple and they unzipped correctly without keka.app.

Also BTW, I didn't have the unzip problem with 10.12.x. I was able to download and apply PSP files just as I always have. I guess it's not a universal issue and explains why PSP didn't acknowledge it.

These folks must be just out to test my resolve! (OK, I seem to have none...)
Yes, got the email from PSP and will be going for it.

The intro vs. regular price is a funny little game, and usually I buy new stuff from UVI, but the demos turned me off and I really like the PSP plugs (there are two of them) even if they're a bit more geared towards applying the effect to guitar/etc. vs. to organ.

Looking forward to someone actually buying and trying this product before the intro period pricing ends. So far, on the three forums I have checked, everyone's been a bit gun shy so far.

Two? L'otary2 is a no-charge upgrade for those who bought the original. What's the other?

Yes, I looked at that. It is an "electro-mechanical tremolo and chorus" simulator. Never liked it on the originals!

I'd like to see someone (Mike?) do a comparison review myself! :)

Ahhh... I get it. In fact, I got it. With loyalty discounts, it cost me less than $14.

I'll probably buy the UVI on Monday. Don't have time to look at it before then.

Melda Vintage Rotary - 50%off this week

Post by billf »

I received an email from Audio Deluxe, they have the Melda Vintage Rotary (and three other plugins) all at 50% off this week. Also, it appears that if you have an account at Audio Deluxe, there is an additional discount on top of that.

I'm not seeing any special Melda deals via the audio deluxe website. Perhaps it is an email-only sale? Can you paste a link?
