I wish I could test it, but my system's too old. I'm wondering if the Warp feature finally works on a Mac.
Yes.

They don't have the checkout calculations working properly. If you order in Canada, you get the $119 taken off the price with the redeem code, resulting in a net price of zero, but still owe the sales tax on a retail price of $119.
Hello bayswater,

Yes, there is a bug in the store software that tries to charge tax on Canadians when they try to get the 'Bus driver'.

We have a work-around just send us a ticket and we will work it out for you.

Izotope DDLY Dynamic Delay Free through March 10.

Post by mikehalloran »

The last couple of days, I was being emailed that the new DDLY Dynamic Delay from Izotope was free — if you purchased something else. OK… nothing new I need, oh well… pass.

Today, I got an email saying it's free between Feb 9 – March 10. You need to have or create an account with Izotope to get this (same as the Vinyl freebie). Go through the checkout to see the price is $0. You will be emailed a serial number and a download link. It can be authorized on your computer or iLok.

Looks pretty cool, actually. It promises degradation on repeats like tape. OK, gotta try it, I suppose.

yea. I got it from free from JRRshop too. Not sure why audio deluxe was trying to milk a purchase out of it.

Yes, it was free as of day before yesterday. I posted this in the free plugin thread. Maybe it would be easier for all to just merge the two threads?

Re: Waves NX

Post by bayswater »

I haven't seen much if any talk about Waves NX here. It's a "deal" because you can get it for just under $49 on most sites, compared to the regular retail price of $99.

NX is supposed to give you the ability to do surround mixes on headphones. It seems a bit of a stretch, but someone on the Logic list asked to do a surround mix, but has no surround monitor setup, tried it and said it worked well -- as long as you take your glasses off. It uses your web cam to track the position of your head.

Just got it free through the Izotope site. As to why AD is doing what they're doing - feh :?:

It is a nice plugin, so grab it while you can.

However, you might need to get some 3D glasses for that GUI.

Please tell me you're kidding about the web cam deal right?

Might be a problem here as the one in my iMac is disabled.
