Re: PSP Pianoverb (free), Pianoverb2 ($19) & Echo ($29) Oct

Pianoverb2 is $19 and Echo is $29 for two days only (October 26/27) through AudioDeluxe:
http://audiodeluxe.com/search/apachesol ... 2b6fab38f0
PSP sent the upgrade email last night. You can get both for $47 instead of $48. If you own other PSP plugs, there may be another discount applied. Because of previous purchases, my price is under $45. I don't really need either of these but...

I think Echo is redundant considering some of my other plugs. PianoVerb2 offers some intriguing de-tune options, more than the freebie PianoVerb so I'll get that. Ah well, I have a few more hours to decide if I want both...

Thanks for that heads up. I'll report what happens to me, too.

One reason I checked is that I've been down this road before. A number of years ago, GC was closing out the AKG D830 microphone (older version of the D5 with a different wind screen) at a ridiculous price. It took about a year of in/out of stock before my friends and I got as many as we wanted.

Not a "bad". Didn't mean to sound bossy. Also if you're using Tapatalk (like I am now) you can't see subject headers. This is the only topic where it's really necessary to update subject headers. Thanks! :)

I got the same email. Now when I click on the link, only the $50 upgrade from BFD2 shows up.
http://www.guitarcenter.com/Fxpansion/

If eventually the order never gets filled, I'll be a little disappointed but it certainly won't be the end of the world.

During that microphone episode a few years ago, I eventually received all eight that I ordered @ 2 for $59.95.

Thanks for that. I had to grab the freebie, too. Don't know when/if I will use it but it's good to know I have it if ever so inspired.

Pipeloops Winter Sale

Post by mikehalloran »

Sometimes, only a sampled pipe organ will do:
http://www.pipeloops.com/index.php?cPath=22

Some of these require the paid version of Hauptwerk; a few work in the Hauptwerk free edition. There are links.

I first found Pipeloops while looking for a sampled steam calliope. That one's on sale for €6.72 and also comes in SoundFont sf2 as well as Hauptwerk and will work in the free player. (I open sf2 in MachFive but there are free soundfont players out there, too). Not bad for $7.37. I used it in a car commercial (when the customer says, "I need it to sound like a circus..."). If there's another sampled calliope out there, I have never found it.
Here's a sample. It's the one you would expect.
