UA plugs on sale thru June

Post by philbrown »

All UA plugs are on sale, up to 60% off.
If you don't like UA, fine, no need for a bunch of UA bad mouthing though.
It's a sale, so it's on-topic.

I'm checking this sale out as well and have a few coupons available so I can probably get something free or super cheap .

Hmmmm... I actually already have Plugsound Pro... as in the actually VI by that name that's 32-bit, but it will run with 32 Lives in DP 8.07 in 64-bit mode. The library can be used by MachFive. AFAIK, it's different than anything included with MachFive... it's its own separate thing. However, it's a bit older, but it covers all the basics nicely.
You can also run Plugsound Pro in their free 64b UVI workstation player in DP 8.07.

For those who missed it last year. I can't say I have used it in anything but it's been fun.

I wonder if they'll bring back the freebie on Mello, their Mellotron emulator? I can't imagine ever using it as it sounds just as bad as the real thing did in the '60s. OTOH, it is a lot of fun to hear those sounds again.

UVI has these freebies still.

PiNG is the old Syzygy (later Atari) PoNG game for those of us old enough to remember. It opens up in the UVI player.
Analogic Piano 09 is an emulation of the Roland EP-09. You have to click on their Facebook page to get the download info. Here's an interesting review on the 09:

You know, I thought it sounded familiar. I went into the studio and got ready to go through the process and download this, but checked my Sample Libraries disk and saw that I already had it. The file is "Digital Synsations.ufs" and it's 10GB on my drive.

Waves Bass Rider opinions?

Post by James Steele »

I'm playing with the demo here. Waves is putting this one on sale right now for a while for $69. Online retailers may mark down even more. Opinions? Anyone have this? I'm guessing the idea is this may be better for bass tracks than compressing the snot out of them. :)

UPDATE: $58.99 at AudioDeluxe.com. No discount appears at JRRshop.com
